LuxuryC240's Thread

Hey guys, Just thought I'd start my own thread with every thing I've done so far. I havent done anything major, just a lot of cosmetic stuff, which is all I can really afford at the moment, and I add things at much slower rate. With my own thread, I can ask any questions I have relating to my car. I have to say that I enjoy this car already more than any other car I've had, and of course like all of us, anything we do to our cars we take great pride in... comments welcome...

All photos shown are as of May 11, 2007

LED Tails and Debadge

PIAA Extreme White Plus H7's, PIAA Extreme White City, Sylvania Silverstars (blurry pic)

Chome Door Pins & Surrounds

Interior Blacklight LEDs

From Outside Looking In

Clear Side Markers (w/ Extreme Whites - not shown here)

Schatz Shift Knob

This last pic, which is my sig pic, shows the tint, which is actually a little less than 35%, pretty well...

More pics to come when I make some more money

I'm not sure what the cause of this was...I don't know if it has something to do with the factory tint or what, but they told me it ended up coming out less than 35%, however I don't think its as dark as 30%...they didnt tell me...happy as it is, and I still need to get those streaks fixed Just need some extra time...

And Just in case anyone wants to make any comments, my goal with my car is to keep the luxury look of it, as opposed to going with a sporty look.

Yeah I felt the same way about Luxury, but after some thinking, not doing anything to it would keep it luxury, because it's a Benz. I think just buy having a Benz and not a BMW, we're already one step ahead of luxury, so im just gonna mod it the way i like it without labelling it either, it only limits what we can do.

HAHA yeah that incredibly beautiful picture is misleading....I certainly did lock my car, everyone was freaking looking at me, and you know how many tries it took me to get that???? I had about 12 pics of cars driving by smack in the middle of my picture....theres just not too many good places to take pics around here....can't wait to go my place in NH, hopefully I can get some good clear ones up there soon...

Are you saying too bright or just really bright?? Yes the PIAA Ex Plus look really good...I think the picture might make it look a little better than it does, Although I've never really looked at my headlights from further away, very happy with them, which is why I'm not in such a rush for HID, although I do want them eventually. No problems with the LED tails...actually the ones that are installed right now are broken. There are 2 screws that broke off from the assembly however I mcguyvered that shiet with gorilla glue, and I just bought a second pair for backup..

Met up with LuxuryC240 today, got to check out his ride. I love the chrome door handle shells, as much as everyone says they're tacky or w/e, they look amazing on silver.

Your PIAA H7's look better in the stock housing than in my DEPOs.

Yes, after meeting up wit Kev for some Starbucks...I'd like to definitely get the 2005 grille and clear fogs...

Basically here is my wish list, however it will take a long time for me to fulfill because I'm broke:

Facelift Grille
Clear Fogs
Roof Spoiler
Wheels
Z1 or Z2
Speakers, Subs, and, Amp

I'm coming along slowly, and I'm surprised everyone has given me decent comments...

I was tellin Kev today, I'm not happy with my non-bose stereo system...I was showing him how the volume doesnt go any higher after a certain point...and I've noticed that since I've gotten the car in Jan. I've had to lower the bass every month or so, cuz the sound is starting to get worse...I like to blast it so everyone sees me or rather hear me.. lol

Hey guys, just got the Jlevi puddle lamp system, and hopefully will get a nice day soon to get them on. I've read all the threads regarding these, including the gazillion page one on the e46 forum, any other recommendations on installing these before I go ahead? Also, anyone know the distance between each light on the real brabus puddle lights? Thanks.

Also just put the 05 grille on thanks to Kev and Rlee. Pics to come soon...
