When it is very hot, I noticed that the driver side vents take longer to get cold than the passenger vents. Both temps are set the same. Eventually, the driver side catches up. Do others experience this?

Try resyncing the climate control system.
You push and hold 2 buttons at the same time, you'll have to search on it.
Maybe defrost and recirc?
