My New Brakes?
So I am thinking of upgrading my brakes (2006 C230SS), and I have no clue what to go with.
Buying the AMG set-ups that exist and shelling out thousands.
Buying the Brembo set-ups that exist and shelling out thousands.
Replacing the pads with higher friction ones, and leaving the rotors and calipers alone, and only spending about a thousand. (Honestly, I have never pushed my car hard enough for long enough to exhibit much brake fade from the factory set up anyways.)
What has everyone here done, and what seems to work best. I'm sure I'll get a few different opinions, but I'm staring with ZERO information, so anything that's new news helps.
Thanks.
