I'm not sure what model they came off exactly, but they're definitely from a R171 SLK. Some of the SLK55's were equipped with these rims. Not sure what offset is, I think it may be +32?

Pulled Over On Valentine's Day
Was on my way to dinner tonight with my girlfriend and got pulled over by the local police. Said my tinted windows are illegal, my exhaust is illegal, and my tinted taillights are illegal. Wrote me a written warning with a laundry list of equipment violations. The officer was pretty cool about it and asked me to step out of the car so he could explain to me what was wrong with the car. He even went as far as saying that my exhaust is probably a performance exhaust and that you can buy a part to tone down the sound but still get the performance gains. No fine but the problem is that chances are I'll run into this officer again and he might pull me over again. I'll just sit tight until it gets warm out and I'll just leave my windows down.

Very likely that I'm picking up a set of new rims tonight. 18" (18x8 and 18x9.5) TSW Bremmas with Mastercraft tires (50% tread) for $450 locally. Guy says the rims are in very good condition. What do you guys think? Is it a good deal?

Saying good-bye to my W203 this weekend, and the hunt for my next car will begin. I've learned a lot of things about my W203 from this forum and I wish you all the best. It's been real.
