KevBlah's Silver C320 Thread

Well, since I went to the meet yesterday and got a new grille and rims, I have decided that it is finally time for this newbie to make his own thread.

2002 C320

As of today, I have:
35% Tint
Clear Side Markers
OEM Clear Fog Lights w/ Silverstar Bulbs
OEM Facelift Mirror Blinkers
S-Class LED Tails
White License Plate and Reverse Bulbs
Debadged
PIAA Xtreme White Side Markers and City Lights
2007-Style Smartkey
Chrome Door Pins and Surrounds
OEM Facelifted Headlights
Blacked OEM Grille
Staggered 19" Black AMG Replicas

I have Brembo rear rotors and Tein S.Tech springs, just need to find time to put them in. I think I might be rubbing in the back cuz of my offset,

The only updated pics I have are the ones I have from the meet, but I'll post more when I get my car cleaned up again.

And thanks to LuxuryC240, a few rolling shots:

As always, compliments and constructive criticism welcome.

Thumbs up

Car looks nice Kev. The grille and rims made a major improvement. I was looking at your pics and i noticed that you and luxury240 both have 35% tint. I don't know why yours looks lighter that his.

Yeah, I think it has to do with him having a black interior and also the people that did his tint supposedly did it a little under 35%, not sure if it's intentional or not.

I am not to sure about the black grille, instead I would try the 05+ sport grille, because it has enough black in it and some chrome details.

probably should lower the front, but you already know that...

I like the silver and black combo; welcome to the club! Keep up the good work!

It came packaged together when I bought my rims.

Yeah, I initially traded someone my facelifted luxury grille for the facelifted sport grille cuz i knew the black slats would match my rims better, but the blackout grille stands out so much more. i still have the '05 sport grille, its in my garage lol

The headlamp washers were not a part of the xenon package for the 2002 model year. in 2002, the headlamp washers came with the heated seat package. starting in 2003, washers came with the xenon package.

Someone mentioned that I might be rubbing in the back due to my offset, which im not entirely sure of, I believe it's a 37. Still got that fender rolling kit?

if it is 37, since the width is 9.5, you shouldn't rub.

i rub on my 19x9.5 ET31 which sticks out 6mm more.

if it does, i can roll the fenders.

I have the same ETs F and R,it rubbed against the fender on the rears when I still had my Eibachs(put 3 MM spacers tho). I put the spacers coz it rubbed against the inside wall on the rears .

Hey Kev,
Lookin' good. Quite a lot done since the last time I saw your car at the meet we had at Larz Anderson back in April. Very nice job. Keep up the modding.

How the heck did I miss out on this meet? Where was it? How many cars? I wouldn't have been able to go, because I spent the long weekend down in NJ.
