stepper moter
I just replace linkage between the stepper motor and the left footwell flap and one of the linkage on the right side. I still have the ticking nose and no air comes out of the left center vent. Ok, so question is: Does anyone have experience with this?

Same exp... center vents blow cold air in winter. Replaced stepper motor and the left footwell flap and all is good. The motor was cheap but has to remove the whole dash would have cost some 8 hours labour and $$$. Lucky this was done at a free invited inspection and a mechanic spotted that and covered before my ext warranty expires.

Does anyone know which stepper moter, and or linkage would be making the clicking sound behind the center vent? It doesnt blow air out of it, pretty much nothing but some air. I replaced the left footwell flap and one close to the glove compartment using the same linkage that I used for the left footwell flap. The ones that where in the center looked different as far as linkage. any input would greatly appreciated. thanks
