Photoshop Request...

I saw all of the creative photoshopping that was occuring in the thread where the MBworld was ripping c230_617 a new one.

It got me wondering. Can someone photoshop a 1" drop on my car?

Thanks!
Hum

Yes, I know Splinter....I know. In the interim, I'm just asking for a preview, if you will.

Thanks Splinter! I'd really like to see what my car, specifically, look like with a drop. I know there is another sedan lowered above, but the drop is more aggressive than what I'm looking for and it has bigger/different rims.

At this point, I know I'm being pretty picky!

Sanf, that is perfect! Thank you so much man! LOVE IT! You're the man!

Anyone think H&R springs will give me this drop? What do you think the height would be with the H&R's?

Thanks again Sanf!

np man,

here's HR spec for your ride:

Ride Height: Moderate Lowering

Note: Avg low 1.4"F 1.3"R

with the thickest pad...it "might" be what you are looking for. I had HR + bil shocks on my 2000 c230. the front was rubbing and the rear just slammed. I had #1 all around and ran 18x8 - 225/40/18. but then again...we are talkign w202 vs w203 and i haven't done much to my w203 yet. cant help you much

Remember that the TEIN S-Tech's were based on my 2004.5, so the drop would be more aggressive than H&R or Eibach springs. H&R and Eibach were available before I did the R&D for the TEIN setups.

Hang on a sec, you're saying that the Tein S-Techs will drop the car more than the H&R or Eibachs (above you say the Tein's are more aggressive based upon your 2004.5)? This is contrary to anything I've seen...

Yes. The 2004.5 springs were lower than your current OEM setup (2004.5 was the first updated year for suspension, even lower in 2005).

The R&D I did with TEIN was based off the drop from a 2004.5 model (not 2003/2004, which had higher ride height). So even though the website indicates a certain amount of drop, you have to take into consideration that the drop is from 2004.5 OEM springs, not 2003/2004.

That being said, Eibach and H&R's were available from the beginning of the Chassis w/ the 240/320 sedans and the numbers indicated for the drop were based on those models, not on the 230.

So, if you've got a 2004 (prior to updates) and not a 2004.5, then the S-tech's would most likely drop your car more than the Eibach or H&R's.
