Tein /remus

I'am thinking of going with Tein coilover's and just wondered if it's worth it and also the Remus Sport Label exhaust with the front muffler as well 1800.00 out the door installed , Thanks for any input! , also are there any links to installing new fog's?

which coilovers? the tein SS or the tein basic? I think $1800 for the basics and the remus is kinda pricey.

as for changing the fogs, it's pretty easy. it's a pain in the ***, but easy.

it's at the top of the forum in the Aftermarket/OEM DIY sticky thread.

1000 for basics is about right installed,
but the price on the muffler is a bit steep!
Go for the Tein SS for 1500. You'll be glad you did.

Fogs are easy, like 1 or 2 bolts each.

Thats a great price for the install. I had mine installed a month and a half ago for $200. All the shops here in So Cal that had MB install experience wanted between $200-$280 especially for the 230ss.

i need to ship my car to CA and get things done correctly. its almost impossible to find anyone here on the east coast that you can "trust", not ripping you off and "really" know what they are doing.

You're in Irvine. There are a lot of shops that might give you a better deal, depending on how far you are willing to travel. What shop is quoting you that price?

Are you getting the full cat-back Remus or just the muffler? I'm pretty sure Remus offers a full cat-back, which also includes a center exhaust w/ resonator. Not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. If it's a full cat-back exhaust and the Basic's, that may not be a "bad" price, but I'm sure you could shop around for better prices.

Greg, ef1motorsports in Signal Hill/Long Beach will do it for less than $300.

I've had good experiences with K1Motorsport and I've heard nothing but good stuff about them.
