One of my blinkers ('01 sedan, on front bumper) went out and to fix it they ordered:

1 203-826-02-82 SPOM ONLY
1 000-545-78-80 PLUG
1 203-826-02-82 SPOM ONLY

I've heard of several people needing this upgrade so be aware!

I am getting mine upgraded today - I had my left turn signal go out last week. They ordered new turn signal assemblies for right and left to update the parts.

 

wait...since I got the bi-xenons, I guess this one wouldn't apply to me !

 

Mine blinker burnt out. Bulb replaced and burnt out immediately on test drive. Mechanics checked and showed me the lamp socket was charred. They replaced both left and right sockets accordingly to TSB and it is fine now.

 

WE USE TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES,,,NOW THERE IS A WIRE CONNECTOR REPAIR ,,HAS TO BE ORDERED BY VIN#.
GOOD DEALERS WILL AUTOMATICALLY REAPIR BOTH WHEN CAR IS IN

I wonder why these dealers dont make the appropriate updates when these TB come out. I guess it is one of those, if the customer does not complain about anything, then dont do anything to fix it. I have taken my car in for a Service A and B already and no mention that the turn signal assembly units could short out. Oh well..maybe it is time to try to get to know one of the tech really well to see if I could get some more inside info.

 

also did you know you can get the brake fluid and coolant changed at the approiate times ,,in conjunction with a scheduled a or b service

yes they will as long as the car is a 2000 or newer car.
and it is done within a scheduled service
