Below is a picture of my GruppeM CF Intake with my RennTech CF airbox!!!!!





got you guys all excited!!!! yes. you guys have guessed right. its a photoshopped image. rather. its my next project.

I have already designed this intake in 3DStudioMAX, yes. I did a 3D model so I can laser-cut some parts!

heres roughly about how it SHOULD look like. Probably be done with this in a Month or so!

This comment intrigues me. Who would cut parts using 3dstudio max files?

(I work w/ something like 12+ artists which are all 3d animators who live/eat/breathe/sleep in 3d studio max)

I work with artists too, but there's nothing like making something by hand especially, when a minute ago, it was only a thought in your head.

Oh, I totally agree, but its handy to have the idea modeled out. DO you know if there are scaled 3d models (.max files) of our engines/cars? I could see that coming into use.

noo. i'm doing a rough model thru 3dstudio, gonna refine it, take sections, and cut it with CAD, then build a mold for the cf box

I was starting to make a 2x scale 3d model of my renntech airbox. but I gave up
