I wonder if this would also fit on a 55 engine as well.

probably will fit on E500s, (Ima go try that out on mine), but I doubt it fits on the AMG engines, the AMG tubes are different in shape.

These kevlar tubes are NOT flexible, they are not even CLOSE to being flexible like the stock plastic tubes.

I doubt this works on the M271 motor. best is to fabricate a tube that directly connects the airbox to the radiator. but this is not the tube to do so lol

Robert,

I sold the amg airboxes to a crossfire guy, not sure if it will fit, but it probably doesnt look like it will, I guess unless you "customize" it yourself, but def not a direct fit.

Gary, great research, testing, and adaptation.
In looking at the C320 (M112) intake and C32 (M112K) intake, I really think that the C350 (M272) intake tubes will fit both applications. I didn't really notice much of a difference between the two. I think I just may buy a set this weekend to test it out and see.

As for fitment on 2.3L (M111) or 1.8L (M271) C230Ks, or C55, or new C230 (V6), I don't think it will be a direct fit, requiring some cutting, shaping, fitment issues.

Carlos,

the only reason why I'm saying that those kevlar tubes WONT fit the 32k airbox is because, if you look at how the (stock) plastic hose connects to the 32k airbox, it sorta "goes it" the airbox, and it locks. and it also is a weird kinda shape.

but for the 112 airbox, the hose goes over the airbox, and it a circular shape.

and besides, the 32k airbox hoses are a bit shorter lol

It looks like this one can possibly work for the M271 engine. What engine are you using it on?
