some *****s smashed my windshield with a huge rock/how i spent my saturday
I wake up this morning to see this outside
some a$$hole kids smashed my windshield lastnight with a huge rock. I even heard it too but thought the sound came from the neighbor's garage door closing or something!
alarm did not go off, no other damage to the car. just glass everywhere in the rear deck and some in the trunk and backseats. If I didn't have the sunshade up it would have been much worse.
cops came out and looked at it and dismissed it as something that happens this time of year with graduation parties and kids drinking. I called insurance, they cover glass so atleast it's going to be paid for by them but the places they recommended calling to fix it couldn't do it today.
it took three hours to carefully pull all the glass out and vaccum out. right now the car is in the garage at the dealership, safe from the rain that's now pouring down.

Look at it this way. If you order the insurance parts from MBENZNL you can have the TV antenna installed at the same time as the replacement parts. This might be another time to mod your car !
If you have to throw out the old rear shelf (badly cut) I would be really interested in buying it.

just beat the crap out of every teenager you see anywhere near your car untill everyone is SO AFRAID of "Crazy Old-Man-____" that noone ****s with it. I mean, the cops DID say, it was damn hooligans.
thats what I'd do.
Or get a garage...there is always that. Although I prefer the former method.
