When it gets dirty, but at least once in a 2 week span. Even if it doesn't get dirty in the 2 week span it will be pretty dusty. I have a Denali that stays in the garage most of the time now because of the price of gas and I'll pull that out around the 2 week mark because of the dust......... I guess I'm just ****.

Once a week and I always use a California Blade to dry it.
I never use anything that could scratch the paint, never use towels or rags.

Talking wax on / wax off

my car-wash lineup:

1979 230 G-Wagen (Forest Green) = never because it's still in Costa Rica.

2003 C320 Sports Coupe (Brilliant Silver) = once a month (4 hours).

2004 A210 EVO AMG (Obsidian Black) = never because it's still in Germany.

2004.5 C320 Sports Sedan (Metallic Pewter) = twice a month (3 hours).

2005 ML350 Special Edition (Alabaster White) = twice a month (3 hours).

heh, i washed mine saturday. ahd to take it into service this morning [CEL came on sat nite, last nite was REALLY bad. turns out was a torn PVC hose. fixed and pickin it up later], and told them to NOT wash it. im picky about how my car is presented and seeing as how i spent 4 hrs on it on saturday, theres no need for another half-assed wash

I try to go with once a week. But recently I have not had the time, and it's been once every other week.

But then again, a wash takes 4 hours or so to get the level of detail that I prefer.

Whenever it is dirty. I don't drive the car that much and keep it covered in the garage. 5 yrs old and 24,00 miles. Use ps21 shampoo. Smells like apples. Use Klasse All-in-One every 6 months and Klasse Sealant once a month. Awesome shine and water beading. use ps21 wheel cleaner on the rims. Stick with the German products because they are usually environmentally friendly.

Weekly ritual get both of our beasts washed. Although I have to admit, the wash station is right acrss the street from work....so I take it to be cleaned anytime i drive through a dusty puddle.
