I had two valve stems fail in one day. They leak at the base, not the core. I was told there is a recall on some of the valve stems out there. so be aware if you have had any tire installed in the last few months. I am so glad I had Sunman program TPS, I was able to get pulled over and stoped before any damage to my tires.

there's a difference between PASSIVE TPMS and ACTIVE TPMS.
The one that is simply programed with STARDIAG is the PASSIVE mode, as referred to above.
The ACTIVE mode requires a whole lot more "stuff". See Dr. Sunil's (Sunman) threads on ACTIVE TPMS.

rubber valve stems FTMFL!
I hate rubber valve stems. The SSR's have stainless steel valve stems and they keep tire pressure even and constant for months on end. No problems at all. Love em.
