I agree 100%.
The ideas on your site are good, but you could of just asked Ricky to add those features on this site, and helped him develop them. You would of gotten the credit. It just seems like all the DIYs and technical posts for the C-Class are going to be linked back to MBWorld, because I'm sure as not going to re-write or move all the pictures to another site, when it's all already here. To me it's now just one more www site I have to go check and it wastes my time.

It just sorta hit me...
I shouldn't be so critical. It was, was it was.
It's all good. The man provided a great service for several years out of his own pocket.
My bad.

is there a way to merge info, or perhaps take the new (innovative, unique) aspects of your site, and create with Ricky's intuition some sort of sub-forum either on the WIKI site or here on MBWorld's 203 forum directly ???
I'll leave that to you techie gurus, cause I'll I know how to do is basic HTML.

Hey Vraa,
I like the wiki so far, this is going to be cool. I was thinking, the hierarchical organization of the wiki would be best organized something like this:

You make it sounds like a second-rate prison. I disagree. MBKlasse started as a place that emphasized the 203 coupes. Gradually it included more. I don't think the main attraction to it was ever because of being banned on mbworld -- I think that makes up a pretty small percentage.

1. Technically Terry can do whatever he wants
2. Telling him that he is wrong wrong wrong isn't likely to get the content released
3. A little time and consideration and negotiation might get the content released.
I think there is lots of information there that won't be duplicated elsewhere and I would like to see it restored or moved here or somewhere. Perhaps a little diplomacy with Terry might help to achieve that.

I'm inclined to think the following:
1. Technically Terry can do whatever he wants
2. Telling him that he is wrong wrong wrong isn't likely to get the content released
3. A little time and consideration and negotiation might get the content released.

Given the heat of this topic and the pressure that Terry has probably received, I'm not surprised that he isn't replying to email. My suggestion would be to give this some time and then for one person from this forum to approach Terry (in email or whatever) and try to open dialogue on the subject. Is there one of the moderators of mbworld who is on good terms with Terry? This needs to not be an issue of petty differences and instead focus on what serves the MB community and is a respectful use of all of the information that the users of MBKLASSE provided, rather than just a loss.

People here have to really chill out and realize that the amount of information (useful information, not jibberish like here on MBWorld) that MBKlasse provided and can provide is for the benefit of all.

I think Ricky and I can eventually do that.

I'm in Arizona right now, but if someone wants to edit the main page, they are free to.
Actually, anyone who does a number of decent edits -- I will make them a system op so they can also approve / deny edits.

2002 C230 Coupe(M111)
A seperate C Coupe forumn would be a good start. When some of the sedan owners were being more than usually dickish a few years back it almost happened. Given the volume that Coupes were sold in, the Coupe owners contribute well above that level here.

MBworld aquired by Internet Brands inc
Has everyone read the thread that this site was acquired by a large corp on the verge of an ipo several months ago?
The company, formerly carsdirect.com
is now buying every forum like this one in existence,
and even bought the software used by both sites
(jelsoft) apparently so they can include some "special" features.
I wonder if Terry was approached by these people?

Do a search on internet brand inc. and see the flury of aquisitions of sites like this, including this, and their upcoming IPO.
They sell loans, cars, boats, property...
Actually would be an interesting stock to watch...

this is my thought on the structure of this site...
I have no idea of costs of running such a site and how these suggestions would impact on the bottom line but since this forum has been acquired by a profit making company maybe its possible.
Wiki - good idea!
Chat room? Maybe would be good to reduce the clutter of meaningless post, many posts veer off into a tangent of discussion/banter/informal chatting which is all good but I would have though more ideal in a chat room.
This would leave forum posting to more precise information and improve search results.
I know that questions on forum post are there so others can answer them in their own time rather than on a chat room where the question is only answered by those that are present at the time, maybe another section on the forum could be devoted to questions and when the question is answered the wiki/forum page could be created or updated!?

![Thumbs down](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon13.gif)
I was on that site from the time i recieved my second coupe in late 2002 to the the time i stopped modding and got too busy last year. The site was great, and at the time i didn't frequent this one due to the clogging of sedan related topics--- Sparisia, Nukblazi, Kompman420, Kneida, Buelwinkle, Tommy, etc were daily posters and all had great Ideas that were not found here in the abundance seen here-----some were banned just for voicing their opinions, I noticed this, and chose not to post here for a long time due to that-------but it seems that this is the only active site for the w203 now so too bad that all that info was lost---I posted a lot of good pics there as well as topics that were discussed------all gone to the ages(like that turbo coupe and how it was built)
I know that the information would not just be destroyed, hopfully he has a raid configuration or it is backed up on media of some sort, it may be quite some time for the information tio surface at all--it was like a child to him, or at least thats what I picked up on---I kind of knew it was going down hill when the went to part out his coupe to move on and get somthing different----my .2cents Thats why I have like 60 posts here---most were over there

Actually, now the front page is there, but when you go to click on "looking for the forums?" It says the page can't be found.
