Beginning to mod and have questions

I drive a silver 2004 C240, and have some questions that hopefully you guys can answer to make my modding process go by with ease.

I was looking for some nice affordable rims because I'm on a low budget with this car, and I came across a brand named ASA. I never heard of this brand before, and I was wondering if any of you had any thoughts/opinions about this brand, or if you know of any other affordable brand named wheels. I'm looking to spend about $200 for each 19" wheel.

I'm a bit confused about what tire size to get, so I went onto tirerack.com to see what size they recommend, and they recommend: front: 235/35-19, rear: 265/30-19. Is this a size most of you guys use? Will this size cause rubbing?

After I get a set of rims, I will immediately get springs to lower the car. I'm confused about which product will give the car a stock look, and not make it look like the body of the car is covering 1/2 the wheel, lol. Eibach, H&R, Tein S Tech Springs?

Last question, I will be going to the MB dealer soon and buying a set of '05+ headlamps (not the bi-xenon ones), and I wanted to know from ahead of time what price this will be. And how much the install will be.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and hopefully I won't be as confused about this later on as I am right now.

ASA is a good brand they are the same company pretty much as BBS which is a very high quality wheel company that makes lightweight wheels. Anyways it depends on where you are located i'm in NY so the roads suck so i have to go with 18's. Anyways with springs i'd go with TEIN hopefully you dont have a 4matic b/c i do and there really isnt much suspension stuff you can do. With headlights i'd check the classified or ebay search W203. The stealership is gonna charge you a lot. There is a DIY somewhere just search. G Luck and have fun

1. WOOOO SILVER W203! WAY TO GO!
2. I have 265 in the rear lowered on Tein S.Techs, but Falken tires are apparently measured out a little bit differently. But, if you're not going to slam and lower just a little, 265 in the rear should be fine.
3. Get Tein S.Techs, I'll have pictures of my drop soon, but there are pics all over this forum. It doesn't slam it, but it gets rid of that unsightly gap.
4. DO NOT buy the headlamps from the dealer, they will tear off an arm and a leg for it. Check around the forum or even ebay. Do the install yourself, rlee has a very nice DIY on this forum, I did my headlights by following that guide step by step...very straightforward.

Have you thought about doing OEM Bi-Xenon's? You can get a used set for $800-1000, you'll just have to be patient in finding a set. IMO, the OEM Bi-Xenon's are one of the coolest OEM Xenon headlights on any car.

Don't buy the 05+ headlights from the dealer! It will cost way more than needs to be paid. Plus their install labor charge will be ridiculous.

You can probably find a used set on this forum in the classifieds for $300-400. You can post a wanted to buy classified that says: "WTB: W203 05+ OEM headlights". You will get good response on this forum. I've seen them brand new on eBay for $500 ish.

Do the install yourself if you are up to it. It's not hard. If you search the forum, there are plenty of people who have posted pictures and instructions to DIY. Otherwise take it to a body shop, or a independent repair shop. It will probably cost 1/4 of what the dealer will charge you.

Thank you so much for replying so fast. And I apoligize for making two threads of the same, my computer froze when I clicked submit for the first one, so I had to retype a second one and I guess the first one went through.

I would be very pleased to get a set of bi-xenon headlamps, but unfortunately its a little out of my budget. I was going to go for a cheaper approach and buy the normal '05+ headlamps and put PIAA Xtreme white bulbs in them.

And here are the rims I plan on getting, wanted to see how you guys like them first before I buy them. http://www.asaalloywheel.com/product...rid=86&ctype=1
