New here C230 Question????
I currently own a fairly modded 1994 BMW 325i Dinan Ecu /trans brakes eibach sportlines bilsteins the whole nine yards.My car is pretty quick but it is showing its age as I have owned it 3 years now.I am planning on getting a 2002 c230 Kompressor I am getting my credit ran as we speak.What I am wondering is are they fairly quick compared to alot of cars on the road say a 95-99 M3 or older gt mustangs?I see that little besides a 1000 dollar chip pulley and exhaust little can be done to boost the HP of the c230.I know that the six speed manual will be alot more fun to drive than my car for sure.Just wondering what some of you owners think about your cars like performance reliability and such.

first of all, C230 won't be faster than your 325, and prob won't handle better than your 325 as well
but overall looking is good, and the interior looks much better.
even with a chip, C230 will not be that quick, and will not even be close to the e36 m3.
if you want mercedes, I would suggest at least get a C320, I would consider C320 quick, but not fast.
but with few performance mods, it should be able to take the e36 m3 easily.

get a used C32, maybe check the classified you can find a nice one for cheap now. the amg c32 is pretty quick plus you still have the room and all the bells and whistles of a C sedan. g luck

Thanks for the reply guys,the car I am looking at is the hatchback I forgot to mention.I am not only looking for performance I do like the exterior far gbetter than my current car thats for sure.I just want something zippy that looks good and will be reliable for a couple years.
Sorry everyone I had not realized that lol.I am looking at a 2002 c230 6 speed manual transmission.
