SI Tuning Time
#76
I just sent mine off a couple days ago to be done. I ordered through Nick at JLevi. It was $500 (2.5L V6). Nick will send you a prepaid FedEx tag- just stick your ECU in a box, slap the lable on it, and drop it off at any FedEx place. The ECU won't go to Nick, it's addressed to Jesse/SI. When he (Jesse) get's it finished- it's sent back to you- prepaid.

i'm not sure how good of a review i will have for the tune by itself. i took my car out of commision for a bit in order to do the ecu, sprint booster, k&n filters, exhaust, and under drive pullies all at once. only thing i will be able to say is how my car behaves after all of the mods, done all at once.
ohh- i will have the euroteck lip on by then also. that's good for around 30hp right?

i am going to have a local guy run a new stainless setup from the 4 bolt flange near the back of the car- on back. resonator delete and a magnaflow stainless muffler. for a simple muffler swap- you aren't going to see much of any power gain. i'll take the ecu tune and custom stainless exhaust for the same price as the other mercedes bolt on muffler brands- and risk giving up that 1/2hp i might gain by going with one of the other brands.

sorry i have not been on here in awhile guys! But here is my update.
Car SI Tuned at 5,000 miles
Now i have 17,500 ( i know and its not even a year old! )
It takes about 1-2 weeks for the car the relearn with the adjustments, so when u get it back don't expect to notice it right away
Best gear is 3rd from 38-72 pulls so hard
6th pulls extremely hard sounds like the motor is gonna blow! from about 130-150
I get about 16-17 mpg my worst has been 8 and best on the highway has been 27
Im able to chirp 2nd with the 7G with the torque increase! sometimes i can get the tires to spin all the way to redline
Best investment for the 2.5 V6!
If you have any question let me know!
