I hope somebody can assist with this problem - the MB agent just tells me they "cannot find the problem"
I own a 2002 (RHD) C270CDI. The climate control intermittently switches itself off, and even does so again shortly after being switched on manually. At times it does the same between the car being switched off at night and started again the following morning.
Problem is that it is intermittent, but it is getting worse as time goes on, and as the end of the service plan nears ......
Any suggestions?

 

i haven't had that problem...
ask them to replace the climatronic for ya...
hopefully that will fix the problem...

Strange enough, if I give the centre console a bang with the hand on the passenger side, it goes OK for a while - and no, do not ask me how I found that out!

I changed the Electronic Blower Motor Regulator over the weekend and its fine now. I'm not saying this is your problem, but It could be.

 

I have a similar problem in my 2003 c230 sedan...
I think it has to do more with the controls on the climatronic console.
I'm looking to buy a replacement (off ebay) probably to check if that's the problem.
Otherwise it may be some vacuum tube issue (I was told by a non-expert)...
