Looks like crankcase vent line.....common leak/weep point in most cars. Hose clamps at the tube ends helps contain it. As the rubber heats and cools and ages it increases. Also, as cars get older crankcase pressure increases with rings wearing so it leaks more. New rubber and clean vent path helps for a while. Not something to worry about unless it really starts blowing a lot of oil.....and you'll know because of the burned oil smell and drops to floor after the cover fills up.

Why don't you just unscrew the engine cover and check the color/consistency of the fluid? That will help in determining what the possiblities are.

i'm not that familiar with the m111 and how it was designed.

I'm pretty sure that's the plutonium that runs your flux capacitor.

EDIT: I just STFF and found out it requires 1.21 gigawatts of electricity and the M111 is known to use less, which causes the leak.

This is no biggie. Its a vent line from your valve cover housing into your intake tract. The intake tract then burns the vented gases.

Try putting a zip tie around the base of the leak, or buy a replacement hose.

When old, the hoses get brittle so don't mess with it until you have a replacement, or you are going to zip tie the base at the valve cover.

See...Drex knows the deal! Ed almost had me with his runaround explanation until he told him to use zip ties. Nobody in their right mind would use those things to hold a hose (or grille for that matter) in place.

Zipties are the best for mounting a license plate also!

Yeah, I got your digits. I'm thinking of calling Jose about my Porterfield Pad install, but feel bad about bothering him during work hours.

Yeah, well, likely the only reason I ahve a question is because I have yet to have a Gin and Tonic Today. I'm a much better mech with liquid courage.

Ohhh, Brabus, your hose is P/N S111-018-29-82. You may need to drop the S when ordering. Installs by hand. Cost about $5 bucks.

C'mon Ed, even I changed my own brake pads. I'd expect a grease monkey like you to be able to change the pads with a blindfold on...just how Josefina likes it!

I followed a DIY, and it helped that the calipers were not on the car at the time. Now that I know how it's done, I'll probably DIY brake pads from now on.
