shops in Orange County to install springs

Hi

can anyone tell me some shops that I can take my car to install springs.
I would prefer in Irvine/Costa Mesa areas.

I do know some shops but they are either too far or don't open on saturdays

so, I need shops that will be open on saturdays, or till late on weekdays, as I get off from work around 5:30 to 6 pm.

so if anyone knows a shop, please let me know
I want to get it on my car sometimes next week if possible.
give me their phone numbers and website if you have them

Thanks,
Michael

It's not in OC, but it's a fairly close drive. I've heard good things about ef1 in long beach.

2010 RRS ; BMW K1200R; 14 E350 ; 14 RRS on order
How about Harbor MotorSport on Harbor Blvd in Santa Ana.
They're members on the board and give good discounts to board members. Very good work on my car and lots of others.

A friendly heads up regarding your long-awaited spring installation. Please be prepared for virtually zero reduction in ride height. The US version of the C32 has a 4x4 profile as delivered. The European and C55 variants are much more pleasing to the eye. Even the 2004.5+ Sport Sedan springs will look and work better than AMG springs.

First thing I did after getting my car home (and STFF) was to yank those ridiculous OE springs and fit some quality aftermarket pieces. I couldn’t even give the stock springs away! There are about a half-dozen different brands of springs for the W203. Each has been installed by members of this forum with varying degrees of success and satisfaction.

Granted, ride height and feel is subjective. Too stiff and low for one driver may be perfect for another. Some of us fall in the latter category. There are many variables that must be factored into the equation. Trial and error is one method of getting there…borrowing ideas from others who have been down the same path you’re contemplating is another. None of us want to see you invest your time/effort/money on a modification that may result in having no improvement realized or benefit provided.

Good luck, Michael.

all i want and need is about a 1" drop on the front, that's why I got the amg springs.
cause I think amg springs should drop my non-sport c320 about 1" in the front, corret me if I am wrong.
not looking for like 1.5 - 2" drop, that's why i didn't get the tein springs or others.

Did you buy them from a C32 or C55 owner? If from C32, you'll be lucky to get ANY drop. C55 might give you a slight drop, but maybe not a full inch.

stock C32 springs = 3 1/2 finger gap with 225/45/17.
stock 2004.5-07 sport springs = 2 1/2 finger gap with 225/45/17
stock C55 springs = 2 finger gap with 225/40/18
stock non-sport 240/280/320/350 = fist

it's the c32 springs
quick question, what if I have the shop just cut the springs a bit to lower about one inch, will that work, or should I just get aftermarket springs to lower it.

and yah, i called ef1, they want 300 for installation, but that includes aligment

LOL @ a guy with over 2k posts even considering cutting OEM springs, AMG or not. If you're gonna go that route, just cut the ones you have on now. EF1's price sounds about right, but don't even bother with those C32 springs. With C32 springs, you'll be lucky to get ANY drop. Not worth it, IMO.

Correct me if i'm wrong....but if you cut springs, they'll still be as "squishy" as they were at normal length, but now you're closer to all your bump stops, so you'll bottom out alot easier.

Eibach has progressive rate springs that'll give you a 1.2" drop all the way around. Doesn't seem like many people use Eibach 'round these parts, but I'm new to the German scene coming from old school American muscle.

The worst part about cutting springs is that it's nearly impossible to get them exactly the same height. Even if you do get them near perfect, you have effectively altered the intended spring rates and performance will certainly suffer. Worse yet, the stock shocks aren't designed to handle being compressed constantly by shorter springs, OEM or aftermarket, so now you've reduced the life of your OEM shocks as well. Matched spring and shock combo would be the proper way to do it, with a fully adjustable coilover suspension being the ideal way to dial in the perfect ride height and comfort.
