I wish! If things are good, I’ll get them installed before Willow Springs in September. Just mailed more than enough to the IRS to get me in that CLK I’ve been lusting after.
See you in SD on Saturday.

2002 c240
My next AND first mod's on my recently purchased 2002 c240:
- OEM Bi-xenons with HID obviously
- Upgrade to 6000k bulbs
- OEM clear fog lights
- OEM Clear mirror blinkers
- clear bumper lights
- Installation of my 12" Pioneer Sub-woofer with Pioneer Amp
- Possibly lower it too
This is what it looks like right now. I will post pics once the mods are complete

a quarter mile at a time
I'm thinking of doing either the SLK55 030 steering wheel or a bluetooth phone kit. I can't seem to be able to find the part number for the steering wheel and I'm downright afraid to ask how much the damn thing is
OH! - and I have the Hoen license plate bulbs on order
(thanks Phil!)

C230 Kompressor Sport Coupe
wow! some of ya'll really ARE mercedes owners (ya know, out of touch with the world :-P just kidding)
MODIFICATIONS- enhance performance and were designed of utilized in such a manner as to exceed performance qualities of the OEM unit. this is not a spark plugs and wires thread people! lol. (if you think i'm being a dick, just realize i'm writing this with big dopey smile on my face)
anyways-
i'm debating between:
nitrous, wet $500
lowering springs/coilover setup $260/springs and $1200/coilovers
rims/tires $500-3000. i'd probably swap out with factory wheels from a better model, that'd save cash.
tint $200 or less, probably.
CD/DVD/carputer $1000 for carputer and $300 for CD player.
repairs to do-
new front rotors and new front brake pads
new rear brake pads, fresh cut on rotors.

however they are the much better polyurethane bushings,
not the cheap MB stock rubber bushings.
If you stay with MB stock rubber bushings, dip them in corn-oil (Mazzola)...
no kidding, it preserves the rubber much longer. But you'll still have to replace them in time (just not as often).
