yeah, he's actually out here in SoCal this week. He was planning to do some installs. As far as clear side markers go, I think they look better on light-colored cars, but that's my preference. I'd recommend Evosport's painted OEM side markers. I recently picked them up for $110.
Thanks. I'll look into those. I got the clear ones today in the mail. I'll look at both and then decide which way to go. Or maybe just sell them and stay with the stock amber ones....We'll see.

thanks everyone for the comments. I'm happy I finally got to do something with the car after having it for a year. I was filling up at the gas station and a c55 amg, same color and all, pulled up next to me and the owner was like" thats a sweet ride man". It was cool to get a compliment from a fellow benz owner, especially someone rolling an amg model cuz those cars, to me anyways, are sweet!!
I'm open to any suggestions any of you have. I'm still a newbie and just trying to figure out what kind of styling works for these cars and what doesn't. classy seems to be the theme so I'll stick to that to be on the safe side. Thanks again!!

got to install clear side markers(with those stealth bulbs) as well as the flat hood emblem. Only problem is, when I got it (off of ebay) it was was kind of scuffed(hood emblem) and the actual box that it came in had scotch tape holding it together. Kind of ghetto..... I polished it as much as I could and it kind of cleaned up but still kind of shows. Oh well, I'm sure it'll get messed up from the little rocks that get kicked up on the fwy. Also, in the description, it showed the benz logo in the middle but it ended up having the amg logo instead. I feel like a poser putting amg on my non-amg car. should I just take it off?

Otherwise, love the rims you went with. I've been considering the same ones for my black car.
If you're open to suggestions, I'd say smoke the tails (probably doing it this week).
And, I just had the body shop paint my grille black and clear-coated and I'm really happy with the way that looks.

Wanted to give an update. I finally got my car back today. Coilovers went in monday and the rims arrived this morning. Gonna get an alignment and adjust the coilovers for a better stance. Out of the box, the fronts sit a little too low for daily driving and the rear is a tad bit too high. So, I'm gonna get it adjusted and what not and have an alignment done. Pics arent the best but it'll do. I'll try to post some better one but here goes.
I'm really happy with the way things turned out. The ride is alot better than I expected. Its not harsh at all. Firmer than stock but manageable.
I was trying to link it so that you can view them on this page but I don't know how. I'll figure it out later. Enjoy! All comments welcome!!

BUMP!!!! I'll start a new post but just wanted to bump this up so everyone can see it. Over the weekend, someone stole my rims while at the local mercedes benz dealer here in Utah. Here are some pics of the car with the rims. If you see or hear anyone on the forum trying to sell anything that looks like these rims, please send me a message or contact one of the mods on the forum. Thanks for the help guys.

wait what? someone stole the rims when you were getting the car serviced or? it's gotta be one of the mechanics then. raise hell with the service manager and demand to see the boss.
last time someone at the dealership stole $15 in chunks of coins out of my ash tray. I was ready to smack someone. since then i've change where i service my car.
