My car NOW looks dated!

If it is true that the W204 makes the W203 look outdated, then call me a freakin' renaissance man. That W204 is bloody ugly.
I'd take a well-kept W203 over that hideous " 'Got Bangle?' meets a Lexusized identity crisis with a dash of Chrysler's discarded prototype charcoal drawings with an oversized star plastered on the front in case anyone can't read the model number at 1000 feet' charicature of a Benz.
But hey, that is just me.

The truth is both W204 and W203 look great from these side by side photos!
W204 is more in line with the current S class, it is a must because all Merc shares common family looks. W203 is more line line with previous S class in looks. W204 is incrediblely handsome and is bigger, badder in many ways.
W203 is both very luxurious and sporty, and my 07 C230 White sport with AMG kit gets a lots of stares from women and BMW 328i drivers, or for that matter a lot of 4 door white car drivers! With the loaded W230 NAV, Sport, Sound my C230 takes back seat to no one in terms of looks. I test drove the new C300 at the Newport Beach Merc dealer several weeks ago, it was VERY nice but after owning my C230 for a week or so, they both drive and feel about the same in normal daily driving, I am sure C300 is enhanced but I could not tell in daily driving routines. C230 V6 is feels and sound very sporty, and has plenty of power, I love it! Mercedes loaded 07 C230 with all the goodies due to the fact it's the last model year, they were trying to keep it fresh, and I paid only $33K for a fully loaded $40K car, whereas if you price out a NEW C300 with AMG,Para Sunroof, Premium 2 pkg and NAV, it will run your $40-$42K plus about $3k in taxes. So thinking objectively and rationally, for a "small" car, $40k large is quite excessive, for $10K less my 07 C230 is looks way hotter than the new C300. By the time I am done in 5 years, I will get a loaded C300 on the cheap in the low 30K, that's what I called a deal!
So my two cents is both cars are awesome and looking good, all depends on what you pay. I recall years ago when the redesigned Acura TL came out, dealers wont' discount much or at all, these Acura fools were paying $34K to $40K for a loaded TL, have you seem these TLs on the road, FUGLY!!!
We are all lucky we bought the W230, German design cars looking fresh even after several years. Before my C230, i owned a 2002 Passat GLS, it looks so good after wash, compare it to a 5 year old Accord, the Accord is a joke. So be happy and be proud of your W230, it's one of the finest made and designed car on the road.

I just test drove the C300 this Saturday. Great looking car. Great driving car. Although like KC says above... I couldn't tell a huge difference between the W204 and my 07 W203. Except the braking on the C300 is amazing!
I am going for a track-day with the W204s in OCtober, so I plan to totally rag the car and see what it can handle....
The salesguy said that the C300 is the car that Mercedes has the spent the most $$ in research on ever.
I think the next upgrade might be worth waiting for... I think something always is a little screwy in these 1st gens

I was having a chat with my buddy over the weekend that I would choose the CLS over the S anyday, if i was looking to buy a car in that price range

Saw a white C300 today just like the one I shot (different plate number though) and it actually looks good in traffic (i.e compared to other cars around) it is definately bolder looking from the rear and the front and appears much wider with an agressive stance
