finally talked to my friend with the vinyl, has enough black to wrap the car twice so instead of painting we wrapped some parts. pillar and console trim were wrapped along with grill, which I will post pic of that later when I pull the car out of the garage. Also the dash was dyed black. whats left for the black interior is the steering wheel and the vents, i might end up doing the whole roof panel but not sure yet. Then the seats (recaros) and the airbags will be wrapped in black with white stitching.
Anyone know how to remove the big center vent on the dash and the left vent? Also I heard that some models actually have the vent arrows and markings light up. Anyone have this?
I was going to open up the sunroof motor since my neighbor say he could have his co-worker make some metal gears since I thought the plastic ones broke, if i push the whole motor up it works fine so i guess i need to tighten it up, weird tho.
side note for the LED cluster, i got the new batch of red needle paint so i will do that today and hopefully have it it my car. I will start working on the DIY for it.

My sunroof does the same thing-.
It's not the motor that is loose, it is the top of the gear stripped.
Your idea about your neighbor making gears is on the right track, that's what we need.
Let me know how that goes, you could probably sell a lot of them.

the arm rest and dash were dyed, the center console trim and pillars are the only things vinyl, besides the chrome on the grill.
I didn't like the beige, don't know why the whole inside is gray and the steering wheel and dash are beige, wtf.

It appears to have the sport package also, though I can't quite tell.
Maybe just has the wheels. I was looking for the nubs on the steering wheel...
Alex, as far as the grill....ummmmm.....i know you didn't like the cheese grater option on mine, but given a choice, for me, I like what I got.
From the pics, yours doesn't look much different...is the star bigger?
Yes, one less slat...but other than that...

the star should be OEM so i guess its not bigger... and your are right, the 05 OEM looks much better... especially on your 'blue'..

The one I posted, while I'm not in the market for a car right now...
when I am, that might be the one.
I want a 6 speed, pano and sport package for sure.
Then I'll transfer all my goodies over the lower mileage car....

since the pass side was broken, i went ahead and replaced the glass and painted the inside of the fogs black, the gray beige piece.
Didn't go clear cause i want to get different style later along with a new bumper so no point in buying both.
Also I took out the lower grill while back, never liked it and finally put the "tuner" style
mesh that's been sitting in the garage to replace it.

Oh I had a question . . . since you replaced the fog glass, is it possible to replace the headlight lenses without buying entirely new headlights? Just curious cause I might have to replace my lenses sooner or later. If so anyone know the part numbers for the clear lenses?
Car is coming along very nicely, love the small diys you have done to the cluster but not really feeling the black vinyl on the dash and pillars.

i went for the clears at my stealerships, cheapest ones were over 35 a piece, the old was was a little cheaper so just went with one. if i was going to pay +70 buck i would have ordered new projector ones but since i'm not sure if they will still fit when i get the new bumper i will hold off for now.
