Ya
Ya, my underhood is quite disguisting. I wouldn't be surprised to find a birds nest under there. Hopefully my next post will be before and after pictures (assuming it can clean up well enough for a good after picture!)

I used wet rags, at the point in time when I find myself under the hood and notice it's dirty.
When I had the Kompressor cover out, I polished and waxed it.
And armorall the engine covers.

I did it!
Ha ha! You guys inspired me, after my last post, I went outside with a bucket of engine degreaser and started scrubbing . To my surpise, I found my air intake hose destroyed, as well as my breather hose... 35.00 bucks from Mercedesshop.com, but take a look at my Ductape repair job in the after photo!

My theory is this and has been with the dealership with Volvo and MB that have garnered great relationships with the GM and Service Manager:
I clean my car spotlessly even the engine bay. Mechanics have even came up to me and gave me props for having such a clean car. I've noticed if you keep your car VERY clean and the engine bay VERY clean, people tend to treat your car differently. Also if there ever is any damage it's easy to get rectified because people already think you're 100% OCD and they know you are immaculate with your car.

Finally did a quickie on mine... just used an old white t shirt and some of that foam shine for your tires... didn't use any QD (quick detail) afterwards... maybe next time.
