was just talkin bout these things witha friend of mine, are they any different from that BMW style Angel Eyes?
would it be pointless to install these on a CL500 with HIDs?

I'm just not sure how this would do at this point in time... it's a "hangs in the balance" kinda thing - probably the coolest execution of this mod I've seen is with Taylor192's coupe.

these are available on ebay. I would STFF for a post with a link I put up a couple weeks back...but I am on my Treo....and it is a bit slow...perhaps you can STFF for my post and link them...I think they are less than $300.....looks interesting...but ultimately a BMW THANG....

Those are terrible, it looks like they just stuffed a light behind the projector and the light seeps out through the small area between the projector and the lense, kinda like back-lighting.
Post a pic with the low-beam on, cause at night I bet you won't beable to even see the halo, and during the day if its what I think, just a back-lit projector, the halo won't be visible at all.
taylor192's rings is a far better product, too bad he never posted the halo supplier or DIY instructions.
