I originally debadged my coupe on the back... waaay too much lettering on the hatch lid makes the coupe look smaller than it is.
But I relented and rebadged just the C230 as the eye travels over vast nothingness when it naturally goes over to the right. (An old art school trick of perspective that makes the hatch trunk look bigger.)
But noticed some latter year coupes have 1.8 badges on the side. Also noticed some of those tiny slk convertibles have side badges that say "kompressor". That would be nice on my coupe. Has anyone bothered doing this -- putting a side badge on their debadged coupe kompressors?
I think I might look into it. But I also wonder why there is no 1.8 on the side of my early 04?

MBWorld Fanatic!
I'm not a coupe guy, but I believe only the '03 had the 1.8 on the side to signify that the engine in now a 1.8L instead a 2.3L.
