My car may be TOTALED
I think I may be able to save the bix. I am going to swap out the rear portion of the assembly with that of my frosty headlights. As long as the clear lens isnt cracked.
If there are other things which need repaired I have to contact the insurance agent and we will work something out.
I am planing on doing the painting myself. No sense in paying the body shop a **** load of money to do it when I can do it for a lot less.
Insurance issued me a check in the amount of $10,945.83 to start repairs on the vehicle. I was really hoping for a total loss so I can buy myself a CLS or C32 but I am very happy that the car will be fixed. I am going to work very closely with the body shop to try to get the car better than it was. I should have the car back in 3-4 weeks.

Can we say kleemann S/c instead of body kit j/k
why don't you just put the original parts back on and part out the car and sell it? Will you make a big loss doing that? 10,945.83 - very basic fixes + what you sell the car for = good head start at getting a CLS. Just and idea
W204 perhaps
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I'd take a CLS over a w204 tho, but it would be nice to mod a w204.You are just jealous Blake

I'd like to stay in the MB family and I'd like something AWD. The w204 is a little more practical for me at this point.

There is so much pain in this thread it's hard to read.
First and foremost, that's the cleanest, best looking wreck I've seen in a long time. I try to be a "turn the other cheek" kind of guy, but I'd be pi$$ed!!!
oh....and that girl:

she's a cow, dude! I wouldn't hit her with your stick!
2nd AWD is the shizzzzle, btw glad to hear that your gettin your car back and fixing it up even though i really wanted those springs
BTW, if you do decide to part it out...let's talk about the shoes...
Either way if you do get the 204 now I love that Brabus version!!!
Good luck getting the ride together and selling it.
They arent made as good as they used to be.

Going to a doctor is a good idea....AFTER you see a lawyer. It may not be too late. Lawyers work on contingency, meaning you pay 0 unless they win you $$$, then they get a piece (1/3). You should check w/ one yesterday. I forget who posted about the payoffs and the Rolex, but I'd bet he'd concur.
