There should be little indentations where you can drill holes for the grill.Originally Posted by electromethod
I got the car back from the shop finally. Sorry it took a while....... it's been a miserable past 2 weeks. Anyhow, I was looking at the hood and doing my homework before I dove in. Our hoods have the latches on both sides and most of the holes are drilled and threaded for everything. The only thing was that the holes for mounting the grill were not cut out or drilled. Don't know if this was intentional or if I ended up with one that they forgot to do so. Should be intersting....... any tips or should I "wing" it?

Either way I'd still be scared, but I'm like that. Originally Posted by blackbenzz

I guess it depends on the use, driving fast once in a while for a daily commuter should be no problem, but that's not the case here.

CF hoods are $199 on the 23rd and 24th. $74 more than their last sale, but still a good price.

Only one (1) w203 carbon fiber hood left. It's in their NY wherehouse (otherwise, I probably would've been up early tomorrow morning to buy this and schedule a pick-up). I got an email reply from them today telling me so.
For those of you in NY, I'd probably jump on it if they let you pick it up at their wherehouse to save on shipping.
