Does anyone know what this is?

It was stuck to my intercooler, apparently fell from somewhere and got pinned there while I was driving. I think it must have come off my AMG front spoiler....

Emerald Black...is that what they call my colour! I always thought it was something like opal black/green black.

Thanks session.

I believe this is a cry for help from Mr. Axle Folie of the Beverly Hills PD. The black emerald holds the secrets to this mystery.

So the spoiler come pre-painted from AMG/MB? I know someone mentioned it comes in black (or is that just primed?). Thanks for info.

Sorry tb, I'm not sure...mine was factory installed so it may have been pre-painted...if bought aftermarket would most probably be a black primer coat.

Jet, i thought your color is Black Opal?

tBerry, the bodykit from AMG is white with no paint. i have the headlamp washer, and when i had opened the cover of the washer the inside of the bumper was in white. I think the black is just a primer.

The first time I washed my car, I found a similar label on my coupe, except that it listed Japisblau as the color. I think it's just a production tag for the car. (Non-AMG)
Mine was stuck to the front lower section of the intercooler....

I have the same label, except mine says japisblau.

Color code #189 Black Opal has different names in different markets, as do most MB colors.

Japisblau, which tranlates to Jasper Blue (used in some English speaking countries), is Orion blue.

Damn I got one on mine too, and complained at my last B service. We didn't remove it at the time, as I only noticed it as I was leaving. But at that time they said I must have picked it up on the road.

I could see it was in german and was like ya right.

It was behind the screen under the front of the car. Where you can't even fit your fingers to reach it.

Yeah, it took a bit of maneuvering to get it out.
