2005 C230 Sport
Hello all,
Thinking and looking to buy a 2005 C230 Sport at our local Bakersfield Mercedes dealer. It is loaded with 34K, pewter with black interior. The price is 25K and is negotiable. Still under warranty. My question for the experts here on this panel is the following: Where can I find links for aftermarket parts. I would like to get the ECU re-programmed and also have a pulley kit put on. Where can I find some places online that display such products. I am also looking to put sway bars and some other performance enhancing products if I could just find a place that sells such. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are thinking of offering 21K and they do a complete brake job or assure me that all the brakes are good. According to what I have read on this site so far, brakes are done around 50K with this model. Is there an extended warranty offered from MB?

25 seems kinda expensive. I got my 2005 used in March for $23,000 with 26k miles, but mine was thru private party. So dealer will probably be a little more.

Do not buy this car, it sounds like you are already dispointed with performance and you will not make this car any faster than it already is. Just save your money and get a C350 or an older C32, you'll be glad you did.
To give you an idea, if you spend about $3,000 in performance parts, you will have a car that doesn't run quite right and it may have a few more ponies that you may or may not feel but you will never, ever come close to a C350, not even in the same zip code as a C32 and you can find nice 2002 C32's for that money, 349HP vs. 189HP, think about it.

Almost every dealer offer extended warranty and you are looking at atleast $2000 additional. I got a 2005 230 kompressor sedan for $23000 w/17,842 miles in Augusts this year from an Infiniti dealer. Prob could've gotten it cheaper after seeing what some are selling theirs for now. They offered me extended warranty for $2174 which adds 72 months and 80k miles to what I have now. I don't recommend buying it without the extended warranty.

A month ago I bought a brand new 2007 C-350 6 spd with COMAND, BI-X and Teleaid for $32,900 OTD (taxes included) .... the MSRP was $45,000. Yes it's a 6 speed manual but that's what I wanted.
With the 2008 C class released, they are blowing these cars out. I would definitely keep looking or low ball them until they get so angry they ask you to leave ... I love doing that.
Good luck!

Wood? Do you mean the 07s had brown looking wood everywhere? I remember seeing some mid 90s mercedes that were way over done in wood accents. Mine has grey swirl looking inserts, there is nothing brown in the car at all. Maybe i am confused? Do you have a picture of what you say is "Wood" in the 2007 models?

Hello all,
Thinking and looking to buy a 2005 C230 Sport at our local Bakersfield Mercedes dealer.
