There's a thread devoted to the new key somewhere. Anyways, shortly after, MB increased the price and it's been at/around $140 ever since.

This was last year, I think, before the dealership marked up the prices. Duval Motors listed the key at that price, so the word spread like wildfire and a bunch of people ordered the new key. I actually didn't even have a clue until like 4-5 people I met up with all said they upgraded...LOL.

I hate when that happens. Bi-xenon projectors for the ML used to go for around $750 on PP, but now they're twice that.

In terms of craftsmanship (I studied architecture), it's great! But I have a thing against fake carbon fiber. It just looks tacky. I was hoping it was gunna be real. That would be neat. i'm sure some select few would pay $200 for one...considering a new regular key costs $175 (wow). Creative idea though. Good effort.
