Alpine changers

Has anyone tried the Alpine CHA-S634 or the CHM-S630 changers in the C230 coupe, and is it true that the Becker will not fit in the dash? Thanks.

The only Alpine changer that can be connected to headunit by the fiber optic ring is the one sold by MB. The Becker Silverstone 2662 will not fit in the glovebox.

You can fit Becker Silverstone 2662 in w203 sedan if you remove the front cover but not sure about coupe. The glove compartment should be the same dimension.

Crutchfiled now carries the MB factory model of the fiber optic CD changer.....$599 includes the bracket and install kit.

There are NO aftermarket CD changers or mp3 CD changers that will work with the stock MB stereo?

Do any of the aftermarket stereo headunits integrate into the MB dashboard and steering wheel controls/displays?

Is that an entirely different head unit or a addon to the stock stereo?

What is the model number? I'd like to check it out thanks.

The only cd players that can work with the stock headunit over the D2B fiber optic ring are the MB-Alpine and the Becker Silverstone 2662.

There are no aftermarket headunits which can use the steering wheel buttons. The only headunits that can use steering wheel buttions via the CANBUS are those sold by MB.

Becker says that it won't fit in the glovebox. Once again a manufacturer doesn't know their own product.
