That's right. For those of us in less favorable climes, it catches and holds the snow and the resulting water from out shoes.

they slide around (whose bright idea was it to make floor mats slippery on the bottom?), they don't hold any reasonable amount of dirt or fluid, and they're overpriced. i paid $85 for mine, and $75 for my weathertechs.

And, I think the MB's only come in black. Doesn't look too good w/ java, oyster or even ash interior. WeatherTechs are available in black, tan and gray.

The weathertechs are thicker as well, and the channels work very well if we ever get snow again in the NE.

That may be because the post talking about that price is over 7 years old.

I see. I was wondering about that too. Are they the same kind? I want to get them. Has anyone have experiences with those?

The Mb all season rubber mat's a trash, a waste of $75. I have the WeatherTech mats and they are the best, perfect fitment.

I have std MB all-weather and love it. About 6 years old. The fronts have grommits and attach to the plugs on the car floor, does not move around at all. Dunno if Weathertech has that. Only thing it shows shoe marks and scuff unless you clean it often.
