Oil pressure gauge
I want to install an oil pressure gauge on my car.
I want to know where the best place to tap the system for pressure would be, and what size that would be ? M10, M12, M14, M16 ?
as i have to order the gauge + sending unit+ the correct size metric adaptor to make it work...
Thanks guys...

Firstly, there really isn't a need for an oil pressure gauge, but you can have one if you want.
Secondly, we need to know what engine/model you drive to tell you where to put the sender

I downgraded to a VW, it's still German though

Don't forget the boost, EGT, oil temp, HSI, VSI, Machmeter, altimeter, and turn-bank ball. I don't know where to tap it, but you could always go to the hardware store and rig up a brass tee that can go where the existing oil sender is, that way you can hook in both. It works. I've done it on an Audi. Every car has to have something to monitor oil pressure, so there has to be a sender somewhere. Oil pressure is one of the key engine measurements. Normally off the filter is where you would tap it if you had to, but I have never really looked under the filter housing to see what is there.
