Veloce Performance

Hey guys before i get burnt i tried searching and nothing came up on W203

So here it is, I emailed IngenereAMG and asked him about the Pulley and ECU package. its a pretty decent price and he said that it would lead to 15%-18% gain so in a good world that means around 30-32hp (crank 219-221hp) and he said up to 12psi.

Now my question is that have anybody in this forum tried his kit (Veloce). i heard a lot bout him but ussually on 55K engines though. is there any more good combinations that would have the same result i dont care the price variation.

thank you

Dang is that how much we are boost up too and still only pushing 189HP

well i emailed Veloce Performance "IngenereAMG" and he said were only boosted up to 6psi i tried reasearching and found nothing about our boost so i kind of believe him

so i guess we cant really play with our pulley because detonation is going to be a problem unless we use E85 huh and a whole ECU tune

6PSI!? How much boost do you think the M111s are hitting? And yes, we're "weak" like that.

Drex and I were there when he dyno'd bone stock. Here's a good reference by pugguy (about a boost gauge install) - there's a sea of M271 boost posts if you searched for them.

Hi guys.........Markman1 let me know my ears were burning!!

The 6psi number comes straight from my AMG engineer, so I know that is correct.

We have a very nice set up for these K engines, at a very good price. I would love to help you guys get some more power. Let me know if you have any questions.

Call Church Automotive in Wilmington, CA - ask him for boost readouts on all 1.8L C230Ks that have been through there in this last year.

Talk to Sean Church, the owner who personally dyno'd these cars, of whom I'm good friends with:

Church Automotive Testing - 300 Quay Ave. Wilmington, CA 90744 310-518-4966

Now, of course, it would suck if all the dynos there were calibrated incorrectly then I'm shooting myself in the foot.

edit:
Not trying to be a thorn in anyone's, but some other references to stock boost numbers go back to 2003ish:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/27396-what-s-best-pulley-2003-c230-1-8komperssor.html

or

http://www.benzforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9190

~11PSI stock looks more like it...I see that being tossed around more often...that or Drex has an oddball strong M271.

Im sorry if this created a negative impact

im just trying to share the info, if somebody have tried the deal or may i say the package. i know not a lot about a Pulley and ECU package specially for the price he offered a pretty good deal for me i thought that it wouldnt hurt to ask any other member if they tried it

i just passed on the info and the numbers

just trying to make it clear

a lot of us know that you are a reliable person IngenereAMG well atleast at w211 amg forum

well lets see what we find out

hey im going to be so proud if it is really 6psi and not 11psi

lets find out maybe we can even get a discount if we do a group buy on you
specially from c230k owners we crave for power

My tuner had mine. But I do have my dyno sheets posted already somewhere on here. I'll try to find the sheets. The ones I have only have the hp rating/torque and also the AFR. The sheets that showed the boost went with my tuner so he could research how he was going to approach tuning my car safely without sacrificing reliability and safety.

Hey guys if I am reading this thread right what we are trying to prove it what our stock boost is? As far as Ive been told from Kleemann, our m271 engines stock boost is 11.2psi. I never checked it for my self prior to the boost kit install. The Kleemann boost kits brings it to 13psi. My car actually max's out at 16psi!! Now Drex on the other has 14psi stock which is amazing! I couldnt see our cars being much less than the standard 11.2psi, so 6 psi is way off. Maybe he is thinking of the 2.3 liter engines?
Mark I would question the tuner again before you buy his product. This discussion has been discussed way back when the M271 first made its appearance.

I guess the only way to end this he said/he read disagreement is do what I did. INSTALL A BOOST GAUGE! What is the whole point of this thread anyway? If you want to use Veloce Performance then use them. If they are a repeatable company then they should know what they are talking about. I had no idea they were in the M271 engine mod market? Markmam how much are they going to charge and what is involved in this mod? Details please! If I was you I would talk alittle more with this company about the m271 engine before you hand over your money.

If you guys have different factual answers it would help out if you provide a link to it.

If someone is going to ask a question about our cars and we answer with a different answer than what you were expecting and we back it up with our test, dynos or gauges, I would think that is sufficient enough.

Mercedes put a silencer on our superchargers. Some people have removed it. Someone posted there cars sound with it removed. I am not sure if it was on this forum or another forum that doesnt exist anymore.

Wasn't the silencer removed from a m111 though? I don't recall anybody doing it with the m271. Then again, I could be completely mistaken about it being done on the m271.

I dunno, but my supercharger whine is pretty prominent. Have you seen my nighttime video in my signature? And it's actually even more prominent now. Exhaust is a lot louder than the video also.
