2005 C230 Kompressor
Info

I have two questions:

I just got my 2005 C230 oil changed at the dealer with the factory recommended synthetic oil. The service manager said it needs changed between 8-10 thousand miles. I run my Monte Carlo running Mobile 1 to 7 thousand so I wanted to see if he was correct.

Also I noticed some of the other C230's don't say Kompressor on the trunk, some say sport, some don't. Are they the same car without the badging or do they have different motors?

he's right. synthetic oil lasts longer....although I change mines every 3k just to be safe.

2003-2005 C230 has 1.8L Kompressor, 2006-2007 has 2.3L V6

All that I have read the 05's come with a 4 cyl that's supercharged, and the 06's changed to a V6.
