Melfunction 1 (teleaid) problem

I have this melfunction 1 (SOS please visit the work shop) came out on my VCD panel. This melfunction 1 error is not always came out. However, if it came out, I can reset it by shut off the engine and restart the engine. Now, when I shut off the engine for about 15 to 30 min, this melfunction 1 error will occur again. I already talk to the teleaid people and they told me to bring it back to the dealer and ask them for the software upgrade. I did bring it back to the dealer and let them to flush (that was what the service guy told me) the system. The problem still there. And the dealer said it may be the command module has problem. So they did change the command module and when I get back the car, the system said I need to re-activate the teleaid system. So I did use the SOS button and talk to the teleaid people and they did re-activatre the teleaid system for me.
Now, after all the work the dealer did, this problem still exist and I hope I can have some help or answer from you guys. Please help. Thanks...

I have the C320, C2, C3, C4 and a command system

I had the same problem 2 weeks after I got my car. The service guys loaded updated software, but the problem was still there. They then ran full diagnostics and found "loose connectors" at the TeleAide control module.

Rick, thanks for the input. I'll try to ask the dealer to check the connector of the control module when I bring my car in tomorrow for the service.
Is your problem gone after they fixed the connector of the control module?

I have the exact problem with the Teleaid/SOS/Visit Workshop malfunction. In addition, I'm driving along and suddenly all speakers go dead, no sound. I have to wait until Tuesday to get it fixed. First glitch since I got the car in October, but still very pleased!

Yes, reseating the connector(s) fixed the TeleAid error, and they updated the software while they were at it. Ironic as it sounds...the procedure also 'fixed' a very slight distortion I noticed in tfe front chanel mid speakers...Maybe MBTech can clarify?

The dealer just called me saying that the problem I had is caused by the loosen connection of the second TeleAid antenna which is located inside the rear bumper. Hope that this the only reason of causing the problem. It looks like every car that has the TeleAid system will have two antenna installed. Anyway, I'm glad they found the problem and fixing it now. Happy driving !!

I love my C320 !!

Let me start with 'obvious.' Have you changed the brake wear sensor when you "change the front brake"?
