Is it rare for a Coupe not to have a pano-roof?

I love my pano....I'm on my 3rd!
(twice replaced under warranty).
Drove up the coast yesterday, with it open, side windows closed, barely a breeze in the car, just put the heat on lowest setting at the windsheild to offset the slight cold. Freakin' awesome, sun streaming in.
Hit up Duartes in Pescadero for some Artichoke/Green Chile soup.
And yes, it is quite rare not to have the Pano.
1 in 10 or less.
It was the thing that made me buy the coupe, well one of them, but it was just unique all glass like that...reminded me of so many prototypes that never saw production. Maserati Boomerang? he he...

2002 C230 Coupe
I love my pano. Especially during the winters in Florida... not so damn hot that I can actually have all windows and the pano fully open. But the only issue I've had is the read sunshade does not close anymore... anyone have an idea if it could be fixed without going to a mechanic?!?

is that OKAY if you sit on the pano roof??
i some what weight near 200lbs.... coz i always drive up mountain road and view the city...
sitting seems pretty cool but i don't wanna kill my pano

you know what pisses me off about the panoramic roof?
EVERYONE asks if the back panel slides open too. everyone!
its like "hey guys, check out my new ferrari."
"wow, nice! hey is this the one with the v8 or the v12 twin turbo?"
"its got the v8"
"oh..." followed by an awkward silence.
so now, instead of saying no, i just give them a look like theyre crazy and say "is anything ever enough for you? its already got two!"

That's funny, because I get the same thing when people see my OEM Nav/COMAND. They're like "Cool...So this warns you if there are any traffic jams up ahead, right?" (insert awkward silence here). To which I respond....no. No. NO!!! It doesn't OK. Or they also ask that since it has the tv screen, if the radio displays the song name that's playing. Or if I can play a DVD while driving. No NO NO NOOOOO !!!!! Sheesh, people want everything nowadays.

I have a 2005 coupe in black with Pano. I didn't specfically look for one with Pano. My main concern was that it is 05 model year.
Bought the car when it had 17500 miles, now it's 28000 miles and not a single problem with the car or with the pano...
Pano makes it more unique

Mine doesnt have the pano, i especially looked for one without.
The pano roof has soooooo many complaints @ the dealership i wont touch one.
Generally the cable mech strips out of them and they allway creek on rough roads and where i live thats all of them.
If i lived in a nicer area / location ( So Cal ) i would definatly want one.
