A friend has a w203 2001. His passenger mirror assembly was stolen. ( Very neatly i must say)

Anyway I found a 2003 c230 assembly on ebay.

:"MERCEDES BENZ C 230 C CLASS DOOR MIRROR "

Is there any reason why this wouldnt work. Looks the same. Housing, im assuming the w203 is consistent across the board.

Ok i looked through the threads on the mirror take apart and install. I got a replacement.

First problem i can see with the naked eye is the wiring harness doenst match up.

The mirror is from a c230 and my pal has a c320 2001. The c230 wiring harness is smaller less pins.

Im wondering if there is some missing intermediate harness?

Anyone know?

 

you in la? same thing happened a few weeks ago to one of our c classes.
both mirrors, very neatly cut wires too.

 

yes west hollywood and only passenger door.

It was rampant and all dealers are participating in reporting used replacements to the sheriff. Im sure the person will move on to another part of the country to sell them.


But if anyone has a answer to the wiring harness issue , please reply 7pin versus a 21 pin appearing configuration
