hey guys i'm having trouble removing the stock rubber gas pedal on my car as i bought a set of oem amg for the car to install. i did stff and not much luck. i followed one of the threads and removed all the clips, etc with a flat head screwdriver and the damn thing still wont come out. the only thing that is connected is the bottom of the pedal where there is a longer piece of black plastic.... so far i have the brake and parking brake ones on.... any advice would help thanx

it'll be easier to drill and install pedal with the gas pedal off.
just like the SB thread, just pry off the dime-sized cover under gas pedal and remove 10mm screw. then pull gas pedal out and unplug wires.

For the OEM pedals, I only replaced the rubber piece from the new to the old.
Take out the pin at the top of the pedal and it should flop down towards you. Slide the rubber off and swap it with the new rubber piece. Be sure to spray some lube on it to make it easier to slip back on.
Fold the pedal back up and put the pin back in. Make sure the pin is in ALL THE WAY.
