So has anyone out there tried to add the illumination to the non-illuminated vents in the C240s/C230s?

Or, has anyone that has a C320 noticed how the illuminated vents are wired when doing a navi or audio 10 upgrade?

Well, just took delivery of my 03 C240 4Matic.... Desert Silver/Java Leather C1, C2, C3, C4, Premium Audio, CD, Heated Seats (Whoa that's a lot of options!!! )...

PROBLEM --> No blue wheel and no dash difuser wheel. I will live without the dash difuse wheel, but must have the blue knob. tomorrow I call Clair Parts and order a "vent cluster" with a blue wheel.... Of all the stupid things to get hung up on, huh!

Definatley some ergonomic changes on the 03 C.... Did you all know that the dash switch cluster and the guage cluster is the same as the G class??!?!?!

just got the loaner 03 C240 today cuz i took mine in for service. It has no blue wheel and no top vent wheel. smooth engine btw.

My MY03 Euro C-Coupe does not have that centre blue air-vent wheel switch.

FrankW--Smooth engine yes, but it must feel dog-slow compared to your C32. If only they offered the C32 with 4 MAtic....

it's alright, of course you can't compare to the 32, but as long as i don't wait for the transmission to shift and shift it myself the car seems to be fairly responsive. The tires seriously need some upgrade tho...lol I also test drove the C230k sport once, the 230k is definitely more fun to drive and quicker.

When I got my C240, it had Goodyears on it. My dealer swapped them with another C, at no charge, now at least I have Michelin MXV4s, which is definately a quality tire, and more appropriate for the car. Goodyear on a Benz, what a joke!
