2019 C300 Wagon; '75 Triumph TR6; previous: 2004 C230 6spd sold after 17 years of driving
What I don't understand is when you look at the MB brochure for a 2004 or 2005 for 0-60
C230 Manual (1.8K)
coupe 7.2sec
sedan 7.6sec
but why? same engine and gearing, however to make things even more complicated the coupe has a worse cd 0.29 vs 0.27 and just before you all say something about the weight, actually the sedan is lighter by 10lbs at 3240lbs. And finally gearing is the same.
So why is the coupe quicker???
PS just to let everyone else know here are the other times:
C240 8.7sec
C320 6.8sec (auto 6.9sec) coupe and sedan are equal
C230 1.8k coupe 7.5sec (auto)
C230 1.8k sedan 7.8sec (auto)
C32 4.9sec
C55 4.9sec
C230 V6 8.0sec (8.5sec Auto)
C350 6.1sec (6.1sec auto)
and in metric 0-100kph Canadian spec cars (62mph)
C230 V6 8.4sec (8.9sec auto)
C280 7.2sec
C280 4matic 7.6sec
C350 6.4sec (6.4 sec auto)
