Do front seats recline in C-Coupe?

Am I missing something? Do these (manual) seats NOT recline?

TIA.

Yes, you are missing something. The wheel on the inside of the seat is the reclining mechanism. And yes, it is ergonomically a disaster. It's right where you'd expect the adjustable lumbar controller would be.

Your right. That "dial" is entirely in the wrong place. there should just be a lever that you pull, put the seat in proper position , then release the lever and your done. But NO. MB imo srewwed up on that one. I actually had to look in the owners manual to find it.

Wow you looked in your owners manual?

I was beginning to think the manual was an option for alot of people. But in all honesty the recliner knob is in a really awful position, hard to fit between seat and console.

Ok, ok. Believe it or not, I did look in the manual, but I STILL didn't get it.

I thought that internal rotating knob was just for adjusting the angle of the backrest.

Am I hearing correctly, that, to make the seat fully recline, one has to spin and spin and spin that knob until the seat goes all the way back? And reverse the procedure to return to the upright position?

Carpal tunnel, here I come!

yes you must do the twist in order to recline the seat. There is no quick drop down or anything.

We can all get carpal and start a class action suit I guess.
