Installation
HALO PPL. I BROUGHT A BRABUS FRONT HOOD EMBLEM TO REPLACE MY STAR. IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO THE INSTALLATION MYSELF OR I HAVE TO BRING TO A MB DEALER. CAN ANYONE TEACH ME HOW TO INSTALL. THANK YOU SO MUCH

you can easily fo it yourself. a dealer would probaly charge you an half hour or an hour of labor for a five minute job. if you have never done it before, it will probally take you 15 - 20 minutes. just a little advise, i think the brabus hood badge is a lug nut screw on and a little hard to get centered and tighted. its also very small and if your like me and have big fingers its a really good idea to drap a towel over the top of the engine just in case you happen to drop the lug, which is very easy to do.

The upright star is held in place by a twist lock from below.
Open hood. Look at underside of star mount. You'll see a strip of stamped aluminum surrounding the mount closest to you. with one hand holding the star from the outside, use the other hand to turn the aluminum bits 1/4 turn counter-clockwise, or until the mount releases. Pop. Pull the whole thing out from the top of the hood and your ready for Mr. Brabus ornament.
