well i see that u have the amg version. i have been reading and from what i understand,
sport and amg models usually run a more extreme offset. like a 28 because of the big brake set up that they have.
im looking at a set that have a 32 offset in front and have been told that i will need atleast a 3mm spacer. i think this will still allow the wheel to run inside the fender.

im fairly new here also but thats what i have gathered by searching.

the one thing i find hard about following things on this site is there are several different versions of the w203. so when people talk about the wheels or lowering they have done i dont know what their car was like originally and not everyone has there car that they drive typed in correctly in their user cp so that it displays it on the left
know what i mean?

From one new guy to another, take the time to check out rims you like with a proper fit and find a good shop to install them. Bought rims 19 x 8.5 front, 19 x 9.5 back. 38mm offset. 245/35/19 front , 265/35/19 rear. The rim distributor said that it would bolt on directly without any modifications. First shop I took it to said that the offset was too deep. Rims would hit the calipers in the front and the tires would rub on the inside fenderwall on the back. Had to buy 5mm spacers to correct the problem. Making the offset 33mm. Even thought the spacers where hub centric, I picked up vibration while driving and when I hit a good dip in the road, the tires would scrape on the lip of the rear fender wall. Took the car to another shop that specialized in Euro cars and they removed the spacers saying I didn't need them. I've been riding clean and smooth since.

u should be able to get away with a 31-32 offset, 28 is prolly the lowest u should go, ppl usually run that low when they have coilovers to prevent rubbing on the strut assembly. but 31-32 and sometimes even 35 will clear brakes, depending on design of the wheel.
