Performance Mods?
Hey guys, I just got my 2003 C230 Kompressor a couple months ago and I've been really happy with my car, but recently I've been interested in something that could give me a lil more "umph" you know?
I've been reading up alot on these forums about what I could do... from intakes to exhausts... even the sprintbooster which doesn't add power but increases throttle reaction time. I'm just not sure which brand to go with for so many things, just saving up a little bit of cash getting ready to burn on my car... any suggestions? What would be the best overall investment if I don't have enough money to spend on more than a couple of mods?

2004 Civic Si. FWD for the Win!
Switch your car for either a 320 or a 2002 C230 and add a pulley to the 230. Otherwise, learn to live with the car as is. Your car really isn't worth attempting to make faster, imho.

pulley alone is 10-12. my plan was to do ecu tune WITH pulley so the gains would be much greater.
as far as warranty, there is a lot of talk about this, and I guess it mainly comes down to the dealership. but thanks to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, things may be a bit diff. Cant say if it will or it wont.

never heard that before. in all the time i've been a memeber, i've never heard it or seen it. even with the tune shop i've ordered from who've installed numerous pulley kits, never denoted anything. on top of which, had I read even the slightest mentioning of this, I wouldnt have bought it.

Pulley + ECU Tune = HP
Pulley alone = bad air/fuel mix
Talk to Mig888 he will send you in the right direction.
If you can get your hands on the Kleemann boost kit, well then, you're set.
It all depends on how much you are able to spend.

kleeman pulley is smaller but the FPR is what clinches is. more power.

what about the ASP? if you order it from www.aspracing.com you only pay 350 if you send in your stock pulley in afterward. No sense in blowing alot of $$$ on a car that is somewhat limited in engine tuning.
