Replacing Bix with normal headlight question.

On the process of selling my car and I have one question, since I've set my computer to 'Xenon = present', will it throw an error message if I put back the non bi xenon headlight??

Then a stupid question.....

If it doesn't cause an error without the Bi-X installed, then why is there a setting and why isn't it just on by default?

Is @ Home
Halogens and xenons operate at different wattage. You might not be able to keep the bulb out feature if your halogen bulbs blow with the xenon set to present.

^ not necessary, a blown halogen is still gonna draw 0w, so it'll still trip the "bulb out" warning. The xenon thing is just some engineer at MB having too much beer.
