Problem with Ebrake...
hey guys I drive a 02 c240...and recently there is something wierd going on when i release my ebrake. Usually when I release the ebrake...the e brake snaps back and makes a clicking noise. But now it doesn't do that. When i release the e brake it doesn't snap and make the clicking noise it usually does. Not sure if anyone understands what i'm trying to say...but I just want to know if anyone else had this problem and if they know how to fix it....my carr is lowered and I was thinking maybe I broke the brake line or something when I bottomed out...

sounds like your e-brake junction above the drive shaft is seized...
This is where the line from your e-brake pedal is split into the 2 / 1 for each wheel. there is a strong retuning spring there to asist in getting your e-brake pedal up along with the spring @ the pedal. there is a pivot there that allways seize.
This is normal if they arent lubricated regularly.
c class coupes have an access panel to it under the rear seat but the sedans dont so you need to get under the car.
